Maeroa Intermediate School is located just a few minutes drive from the Hamilton City Centre.Students are taught in an inclusive environment which encourages the development of independence and the fostering of responsible action. We are proud of our school, our students and our heritage. We opened in 1954 and were the first Intermediate School in the Waikato region. We offer a wide range of learning options and activities to suit all students.
We are currently reviewing the Maeroa curriculum which is aimed at the needs of the Maeroa students. As a result we have used some inspiring video clips to generate discussion amongst the students about learning in schools today.
